SUMMARY:
Chemical wastewater originates from various industrial processes,including petrochemical, coal chemical, acid-base, fertilizer, plastics, pharmaceutical, dye,and rubber manufacturing.
PROCESS TECHNOLOGY:
- Primary treatment: Employs coagulation and sedimentation,dissolved air flotation, oil separators,and mechanical screens to remove suspended solids, colloids, floating oils, and heavy oils from wastewater;
- Secondary treatment: Utilizes biological methods such as activated sludge, biological rotating discs, and biological contact oxidation to remove biodegradable dissolved organic matter and some colloidal matter;
- Tertiary treatment: lmplements methods like activated carbon adsorption and ozone oxidation to remove persistent organic pollutants and dissolved inorganic pollutants from wastewater.
